St. Patrick High School joined the existing institutions in Kasoa township on 5th September 2005 under the administration of Madam Sabina Mensah with the Motto and Slogan “כbra Pa Gya Owura Kwan” and “SCHOOL OF THE MOMENT’ respectfully. The school crest with the following symbols: CROWN meaning Victory the BELL for obedience and the Torch for shinning has greatly impacted the school.
The school with an enrolment of 54 students and seven teachers after the first year of establishment can now boast of over 600 students, 28 Teaching Staff, and 25 Non-teaching. On the 1st of June, 2007 upon the recommendation by the Ghana Education Service in line with the policy of establishing the private school, a substantive headmaster Mr. Jacob King Abbey took over the Administration and with team spirit, the progress of the school continued unabated. As a Christian cum Muslims school, it has been inculcated into the student’s sound moral values that have led to the fear of God, honesty, and integrity, peaceful co-existence, friendliness, and love.
The school has rules and regulations that all Staff Members and students strictly adhere to. The code of conduct touches on morally, regularity, punctuality, respect for authority, patriotism, and self-discipline.
The schools’ academic performance regarding the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been remarkably remarkable over the years.
Tuition from crèche to JHS3 is excellent with qualified teachers. More often than not, the perceptions out there among most private schools is that greater attention is given to the academic work to the neglect of sports and games. In its attempt to unearth talents, the school takes part in all sporting activities organized in Kasoa Zone 2. The school medium-Term strategic development agenda has the following Facilities:
Library, Science Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Sick Bay, Assembly Hall, Boarding House, Dining Hall, 11 School Buses, Brassband, School Cadet, 24 seater Water Closet(W.C) and Ongoing Ultramodern Pre-school Block.
Fess are very moderate and there is a Payment plan for everyone. The school in its small way has buses bringing students from Awutu Breku, Buduburam, Liberia Camp, C.P, Tippa, Broadcasting, New Market, Akweley, Ofaakor, and Kae Me Bre, Kasoa township and back home in the hands of competent drivers. The school runs Day and Boarding from stage four to JHS 3.Boarding facilities are unique and parents are advised to bring their wards for excellent tuition.
